INSTITUTIONS AND LIBRARIES

Corporate members and sponsors support the New Bedford Whaling Museum’s public programs, educational programs, exhibitions, publications and ongoing operations. They help us provide high-visibility branding opportunities for our partners in the business community, while presenting the very best in cultural programming on the South Coast. The Museum offers a number of ways for businesses to meet their marketing, philanthropic and community engagement goals.

We also offer Library Memberships which extend special benefits to Libraries and their patrons across the region.

CORPORATE MEMBERS AND SPONSORS

Corporate memberships and sponsorships are an investment in the Museum, our community, in the economic vitality of our region, and a belief in the importance of history, science, art and education.

As a Corporate Member, you and your employees and clients can enjoy advance notice and exclusive access to exhibitions and events, while building relationships with other engaged community members. Your business will be recognized in Museum publications, on our website, and on signage at the Museum’s entrance. Corporate Memberships also may include private, expert-led Museum tours, as well as discounts on facility rentals within the Museum’s unique, historic campus.

Corporate Sponsorship of Museum programs and events often includes a Corporate Membership and the benefits outlined above, as well as high-level exposure to a desirable audience of Museum patrons and members. Museum staff work with our sponsors to create custom packages that meet your charitable, employee engagement and business development needs. Sponsorship packages may include complimentary tickets and unique VIP experiences. Sponsors also enjoy prominent logo or name placement in print and digital event materials, recognition in onsite signage and remarks, and mention in social media posts.

LIBRARIES

The New Bedford Whaling Museum invites libraries to become members and create a dynamic connection between the communities they serve and one of the SouthCoast’s leading cultural attractions.  Through a Library Membership, library patrons may visit the Museum at a reduced rate by checking out their local Library’s one-day pass. Library members also receive 20 free guest passes, each good for one free admission to the Museum. There are no restrictions on how libraries distribute their guest passes, which are valid for one year. All Library members will also receive our Bulletin from Johnny Cake Hill and special invitations to members-only events.

Library memberships are valid for one year and cost $250.
