Join the New Bedford Whaling Museum for a day trip to the Newport Historical Society in Newport, RI. You will participate in guided experiences inside the Colony House and the Newport 1775: Whose Side Are You On? exhibit. Members will also have an opportunity to shop the new Holiday Market, as well as have free time to explore downtown Newport, grab lunch, and do some holiday shopping! Join fellow members, and NBWM staff for this special outing!

This holiday season the Newport Historical Society’s Colony House will become a Holiday Market. This will be a one-stop-shop for all your holiday needs with a selection of ornaments, books, home decor, and more.
Itinerary
9:00 am: Meet at the NBWM plaza
10:00 am*: Arrive at the Newport Historical Society
- Guided tour of Colony House and Newport 1775: Whose Side Are You On?
- Holiday Market Shopping
- Lunch and Free time
3:00 PM: Depart Newport
4:00 PM*: Arrive back in New Bedford
