AHA! Breaking Waves: Women in Science
Thursday, March 14, 2024 |  4:00pm - 7:00pm
Free Admission

Did you know that a women scientist is behind the world’s most comprehensive blue whale database? For three decades, Dr. Diane Gendron has been studying the largest animal on the planet and gaining a rich understanding of the whales’ behavior, growth, breeding patterns, and health.

Learn even more about Dr. Gendron’s research and blue whales in general by watching for FREE our Blue Whales: Return of the Giants 3D film before it leaves the New Bedford Whaling Museum on March 17th. The film provides an unforgettable window into the lives of these animals and the extremes scientists must endure to study them. Free showtimes at 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM only on AHA! night.

Seating in our theater is first come, first serve. No advance registration is required.
