A full week of crafts, hands-on activities and lots of fun for all! Visitors learned about the Museum with a highlights tour, climbed inside an inflatable whale, got crafty at our art stations, and heard stories of life aboard a whaleship from Museum docents. Learn from the experts as Museum docents share the story of life leading up to and aboard a whaleship. How did they sign on to a voyage? What did they get paid? What did captains promise their crew?

All aboard the Lagoda
Join the crew of Captain C. Weade on board the largest model whaleship in the world – the Lagoda – for an adventure on the high seas! Travel the world, interact with new cultures, learn the ropes of a whaleship, and go a-whaling.
