Right Whale Day 2017

Monday, April 17
10 am – 2 pm

Kids and adults alike had fun and learned while gaining a greater awareness and appreciation of the endangered North Atlantic right whale.

FREE for Museum members and with regular Museum admission.
Children had to be accompanied by an adult.

 

» Navigate through the Right Whale Obstacle Course, as you face the human-caused hazards that Right Whales must overcome as they swim through the ocean

» Climb inside life-sized inflatable Right and Humpback Whales to see the biology of these creatures first hand!

» Listen to the story ‘Dario and the Whale,’ read by author Cheryl Lawton Malone

» Make Right Whale magnets and whale origami

» End the day by enjoying Right Whale Day cake
