The Sippican Hotel located in the Marion Village was a cornerstone in Marion’s Golden Age during the late 1800s and the early 1900s. At its peak the Sippican Hotel could accommodate between 150 to 200 guests and represented the finest elegance and style in the time of high culture in Marion’s history. During the time presidents, artists, writers, people of great wealth made Marion their vacation home away from home.
