Charles W. Morgan Visit to New Bedford
Nine days of concerts, programs, regattas, whaleboat races and parades, a whaling history symposium, public ceremonies and much more! The Charles W. Morgan arrived in New Bedford on Wednesday, June 25. The ship was open to the public after the official opening ceremony on Saturday, June 28, at 10 a.m. and departed on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014.

Built in 1841 at Hillman Brothers shipyard in New Bedford, the Charles W. Morgan has a long history leading up to its recent return to seaworthiness.
