Enjoy walking down a small wooden boardwalk through a marsh to a beach with a view of upper portions of Buzzards Bay and a view over to Cromesett Point in Wareham. While there, you can also catch a glimpse of an osprey pole at the beach where nesting osprey come back every year! Brainard Marsh is a 7-acre parcel of land located along Buzzards Bay in Marion and was donated to Sippican Lands Trust by the Brainard Family. Brainard Marsh features a lovely meadow, pond and small beachfront.

Trailhead is located at 320 Delano Road, Marion, MA 02738

Parking for Brainard Marsh is located near the corner of Bass Point Road and Delano Road in Marion, MA (look for the Sippican Lands Trust’s Brainard Marsh sign). Parking is limited and please be careful while parking vehicles in the parking area.

This program is being offered rain or shine. In the event of wet weather, wear protective clothing and good boots. In the case of dangerous conditions, we will notify participants of a cancellation 24-hours prior.
