Gather your pod and join the New Bedford Whaling Museum community for the social event of the season!

Gather with us on Johnny Cake Hill for Picnic on the Hill. We’ll celebrate summer with an inventive outdoor gathering under a tent in Captain Paul Cuffe Park. Relax, reconnect and enjoy haute picnic foods, cocktails, live music, and conversation.

To celebrate safely, the event will be limited to just 150 guests, seated in picnic-style pods of either four or eight. Don’t wait to reserve your pod – this intimate event is expected to sell out quickly!

In place of individual tickets, we’re also offering a Picnic-To-Go option: a gorgeous three-course picnic dinner basket for two, including wine, to be picked up in advance at the Whaling Museum and enjoyed with friends and family at home.
