You've heard the term "whale song," right?
The New Bedford Whaling Museum invites you to explore the songs and sounds of marine mammals and show us your personal style by creating a remix!
How to participate:
- Listen to sounds of marine mammals from our collection.
- Download your favorite.
- Drop it into your preferred beat creation tool.
- Mix and create.
Whales Today Virtual Tours
Still looking for a fun virtual activity during vacation week?
Interacting live with one of the Museum’s educators, discover what makes a whale a whale, what people have in common with whales, and what we can do to help protect them in our oceans today.
This highly visual program allows participants to ask questions in real-time while exploring life-sized whale models and looking at real whale artifacts.
FREE and open to the public, but registration is required and space is limited to 30 households. There are two chances to get the virtual tour:
