to the unique ambiance of the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Located in the heart of the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park amid cobblestone streets, art galleries and quaint shops, the Museum provides a setting few sites can match.

Founded in 1903, the New Bedford Whaling Museum is the premier institution on whales and whaling, and one of the world's major maritime museums. Its international collections span cultural history, the fine and decorative arts, environmental and marine science, and maritime history.

FEES
Room rental fees vary on preferred space, length of stay, set-up requirements, and the number of staff needed. Events held on a Monday or Tuesday receive a 20% discount. Non-profit organizations and public agencies receive a 10% discount. Facilities rental is a benefit of Museum membership. Certain levels of membership offer discounts on rental fees.

Attend most programs and events for free, or at a discount. Enjoy a 10 percent discount on purchases at the Museum Store. Members at the Friend level receive a 10 percent discount on facility rental for functions.
