Timeline: The Arctic Voyage of the Polar BearThe following is a timeline of the voyage aboard the Polar Bear, well documented through the journals of Bernhard Kilian, Dunbar Lockwood, Eben Draper and William Hudson's Icy Hell.
April 26th, 1913
Bogoslof Island
On Bogsolof Island, where the men found hundreds of small skeletons of marine life. These peaks are the highest points of the island, the rest being an average of 20 to 25 feet above sea level.MAP
